Group Communication

When participating in a group project have good communication is a big factor. Especially when in an online class. There are many ways that a group can keep in touch with each other in order to set up meet ups and check progress with each other. Most groups start off by exchanging emails and using that to begin to communicate. This is a good method because almost everyone will have an email. But this can be limited by how often a person checks their emails. Most groups do not stay at the email level and will exchange phone numbers. This is much faster than emails because cellphones have direct notifications. One of my favorites ways to communicate as a group is GroupMe. A lot of groups that I have been apart of at the University of Arizona has used this app. It is easily to use and allows you to delete the group chat when the project is done. Communication is a key factor in group projects so it is smart to pick the right tool.
